Culinary Team

We are looking for energetic individuals to join our Culinary Team to deliver an exceptional customer experience including Line Cooks and a Sous Chef.

A successful individual is knowledgeable or very willing to grow their understanding of seasonal food ingredients and craft beverages. This role is ideal for those that are dependable, trustworthy, adaptable, and detail-oriented. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Follow directions and instructions from the Head Chef; proactively looks for ways to enhance skills

  • Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies

  • Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces

  • Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards

  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage

  • Cleans and sanitizes kitchen supplies & dishes

  • Cleans and sanitizes cooking & kitchen surfaces at the end of the shift

  • Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude

  • Show interest in learning about food and beverage pairing

  • Communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and tasting room team members and guests

  • Must be able to bend, stand and stoop for long periods of time in an active kitchen environment

  • Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays

  • Must be willing and able to pass background checks and drug testing

  • Must fully uphold all company policies and be a good ambassador of the Brewery Ardennes brand   

Required Experience

  • Prep Cook - at least 1 year of experience in full-service kitchen; Sous Chef - 2+ yrs experience in a full-service kitchen as Line or Prep Cook, or similar experience 

  • High school or GED equivalent required; formal culinary training or associate degree in culinary arts preferred

  • Must either be certified or get certification in Servsafe Food Safety Manager

Compensation

  • Full-time & seasonal shifts available

  • Hourly rate based on experience; paid overtime
